A Culinary Session at 210 with Brenda Hernandez-Acosta

Led by: Brenda Hernandez-Acosta, La Panadería
Our first session celebrates the holiday season with Brenda Hernandez-Acosta, owner of La Panadería and known for her work grounded in Mexican ancestral cooking traditions.
In this workshop, participants will:
  • Mix their own corn dough to take home
  • Sample a selection of delicious corn-based appetizers
  • Create festive corn-leaf dolls as Christmas ornaments
  • Receive a take-home quesadilla recipe to recreate at home
All materials, including corn flour, corn leaves, and take-home containers, will be provided. Mixing bowls and printed recipes will be available on site.
This session blends culinary technique, storytelling, and hands-on creativity for a warm, seasonal experience.
