Holiday Gift Shop 2026
Call for Applications

210 Gallery is inviting artists and makers from rural and Northern Manitoba to submit original work for our 2026 Holiday Gift Shop.

Application deadline: September 29, 2026

Drop-off deadline: October 30, 2026

Who can apply

  • This call is open to artists and makers aged 18+ living in Manitoba.

  • The Holiday Gift Shop primarily features work by artists from rural and Northern Manitoba. Up to 10% of participating artists may be based in Winnipeg.

  • Once accepted, applicants must be current members of the Manitoba Arts Network ($35/year individual membership).

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for original, handmade work suited to the holiday gift season, including ornaments, prints, cards, ceramics, jewellery, textiles, small artworks and other handmade pieces.

How it works

Selected work will be sold on consignment. Artists set their retail prices. 210 Gallery retains a 30% commission on all sales, with 70% paid to the artist. Final payment and consignment details will be provided before participation is confirmed.

Terms & Conditions


  1. Eligibility: Applicants must be 18 or older and reside in Manitoba. The Holiday Gift Shop primarily supports artists and makers from rural and Northern Manitoba. Up to 10% of participating artists may be based in Winnipeg. Upon selection, applicants must have a current Manitoba Arts Network membership.


  2. Original work: Submitted items must be created by the applicant. Prints, cards and reproductions are permitted when based on the applicant's own original work. Applicants must hold the rights required to display and sell all submitted items.


  3. Selection: Submission does not guarantee acceptance. 210 Gallery may select or limit items and quantities based on available space, quality, safety, retail suitability and the overall balance of the Holiday Gift Shop.


  4. Condition and pricing: Selected items must arrive finished, clean, safe and ready for sale. Artists set their retail prices. Selected work will be sold on consignment. Commission, payment schedule and final consignment details will be provided before participation is confirmed.


  5. Delivery and pickup: The drop-off deadline for the work is: October 30, 2026


  6. Artists are responsible for safe packaging, timely delivery or shipping, and collection or return shipping of unsold work by the stated deadlines. 210 Gallery is not responsible for shipping damage or loss caused by inadequate packaging.


  7. Care and promotion: Reasonable care will be taken while work is in the custody of Manitoba Arts Network and 210 Gallery. By applying, artists give permission to use submitted images and basic information for promotion and documentation of the Holiday Gift Shop.


  8. Commission: 210 Gallery retains a 30% commission on all sales made through the Holiday Gift Shop. Artists receive the remaining 70% of the retail price.


  9. Temporary consignment and pickup: Participation in the Holiday Gift Shop is temporary. Any unsold work must be picked up by the artist in January by the pickup deadline provided by 210 Gallery. Artists are responsible for arranging pickup or return shipping of their work.


  10. Program policies: Selected artists must follow Manitoba Arts Network and 210 Gallery policies relating to respectful conduct, cultural integrity, copyright, safety and accessibility. The gallery may decline work that does not meet these requirements.
