How do you tell a big story with just a few images? In this hands-on workshop, artist Rosemary Dzus will guide you through creating a short graphic novella—using simple sketches, storyboards, and your own ideas.

No art experience is required. Whether you’re a writer, a visual thinker, or simply curious, this workshop offers a chance to explore how words and images can work together to tell personal, imaginative stories.

All materials will be provided. You’ll leave with the beginnings of your own illustrated story—and a fresh way to approach storytelling.

Free · Ages 18+ · Space is limited to 12 participants
Pre-registration required, fill the form below

Please Note

This workshop is limited to 12 participants. We will accept 15 registrations total — the first 12 will be offered a confirmed spot, and spots 13 to 15 will be placed on a waitlist.

All registrants will receive an email on Wednesday, Nov 12 asking them to confirm their attendance. If we do not receive a confirmation by the end of Thursday, Nov 13, your spot will be given to the next person on the waitlist.

If you’re registering as a waitlisted participant, we’ll let you know by Friday morning if a space becomes available.
